Poem #9

dim light

life through a keyhole, that’s the life with light, worthy of envy
simple
round
guides in place, a beaten path
simple
narrow
ignorant of the infinite, robbed of life’s juice
happy but sad, treasure stolen
unguarded
unknown
life and it’s meaning bundled up, removed
alone with itself
priceless
worthless
