Please Respect Me
Gender or non-binary, we have the right to be.
Please Respect Me
I am not a she.
That pronoun is not me.
As for her or hers,
Yes. Human beings are a shared similarity.
Referred to by pronouns
we share that too but
I am me, and you are you
I am they, them and their.
You are she, her, and hers.
Yes, we do share a thing or two.
Unfortunately, for myself, herself will not do.
But if you respect me, ill respect you
I say this quite respectfully too.
Some seem to have a problem,
indistinguishable pronouns,
I guess you'd call them,
Still, if he and she
they rather not be,
but, instead, they choose
Zie, Sie, Ey, Ve, Tey, and E
let him and her decidedly agree that them pronouns be Zim, Sie, Em, Ver, Ter, Em, or
Zir, Hir, Eir, Vis, Tem, Eir
and
Zis, Hirs, Eirs, Vers, Ters, Eirs
maybe even
Zieself, Hirself, Eirself, Verself, Terself, and Emself.
Whatever it may be.
Please respect me.
I have a right to be me.
