Pink

Neither. Both.

Pink is not like all the other colors

Pink is not found on the rainbow, spectrum, span of wavelengths

Pink is neither black nor white nor shade of grey

Pink is not at one end or the other or anywhere between

Pink is neither. Pink is both.

Pink is a complex combination

Pink is a word, for the sensation, of chemical electrical signals transmitted through flesh

Pink is an idea of an experience universally shared and utterly unshareable

Pink is light. Separated. Blended. Incomplete. Interpreted. Named.

Neither. Both.

Unique.

Not defined by a number, in relation to position, by comparison

Not black and white. Nor shades of grey.

Not at one end. Not at the other end. Not some compromise between.

Neither. Both.

Complex combination

Words and sensations. Chemical electrical signals transmitted through flesh

An idea. An experience both universally shared and utterly unshareable

Light. Separated. Blended. Incomplete. Interpreted. Named.

Not Pink.

Not me.

Neither. Both.
