Pigmented Moods

You don't simply "see" colours, you feel them.

By Mimi MollicaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Blinding White when I wake up

Brown the coffee in my cup,

Sugary Pink are the lips I kiss

Turquoise sea it's the only thing I miss.

Tedious challenges are tinted in Ochre

Gotta zig zag through them as I was playing poker.

Yellow is the warning and Green is the hope,

In truth I like them both, I find them really dope.

Orange is the warmth caressing my face,

a break from the monotonous Grey rat race.

Purple must be the rain,

Red is both passion, blood and pain.

Some say without it, there is too few to gain.

So gimme a bucket full of them

Indigo and Salmon, Amber and Cyan,

Vermillion and Lavender, truly I'm a fan!

They're all beautiful in the difference they make.

Sometimes they clash and do a lot of clutter,

But silent beautiful Black is the one that does matter!
