Quiet and still is how I would describe it,
Like suddenly putting a pause on air
and the quickness of being suffocated,
made natural beauty become stripped bare.
I could of sworn I heard a howl,
being shot through the airless sky
eventually colliding with my burning ears
and evaporating without a goodbye.
My lungs felt locked and precious,
deathly fear ever so prominent and rising,
whilst white mist wrapped sensually around me
without routine; its movement continuously improvising.
My breath released like a gunshot.
I gasped my neck feeling sore and tender,
my mind fluent with incoherent thoughts,
revealing a shed of blood; I surrendered.
