Persephone, returned now an entire season,
Raises temperatures higher and higher
Scorching forests and crops across the land
Taking her fury out on mankind
As Mother Demeter becomes
Unbearable and smothering
Her longing for Hades grows
For the quiet beauty
Of her winter home
Far from burdens,
Fights, crying
The new
Norm
