Beautiful rare Bonsai orchid

It’s like I’m running down a tunnel but the floor turns to water right from under me; all of a sudden I’m submerged in darkness; I’m drowning.

The dark is so dark that the light even fades from my memory. I’m lost!

Not in the ways you may think that matters. It’s not a concern to you it’s not even a concern you can see.

See it matters to me though because this concern is what feeds my soul that runs my drive allowing me to want to connect with reality and without it, I am lost.

Lost searching for a purpose, a meaning or someone to show me my worth. I’m wrong in doing so but I’m blind. My vision distorted.

So I stare and stare deep into the dark. Looking for any beam of light, a twinkle, anything that gives hope. I see it! It’s so beautiful, an orchid with colors so vibrant and so different they seem to come from every walk of life.

That’s when it hits me. This water is not water it’s sadness and I’m not submerged I’m wallowing in it.

All along I’ve been looking for the light at then end, when I should’ve been remembering the colors that were always here with me.
