People of courage

Dear Sirs

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

It was said about the brave people who speak beautifully

Until they became the ones who made us noble?

If they talk a lot, it becomes obligatory for us

To carry our land and spread peace?

And sleep until those dreams come to us

Who bought our patience and our commitment is a duty

So the words passed as the nobles did?

On our path, diseases slept with us

And stole a heart that trampled on people's feelings

And wiped away a tear that was the talk of the clouds

Oh winter, let my life pass in peace

For I am not one of your lovers to surrender

Oh breezes, extend your hands to me

Let the cooing of the doves engulf me

For the sound of the fluttering doves

Born melodies in my soul

So the brave are always brave

They fight evil and darkness

They are advocates of truth, justice and peace

They do not accept lies or surrender
