People Like Us

Oneness in a garden

By Troy CharlesPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

I see us as creatures,

the world needs us.

To wrap around.

And get in.

Fiddle.

And play.

Creatures like us it comes easy to say:

The words that are out,

to provide shade,

giving way to the lights,

for more than casual delights.

Open wounds,

reversed in swoons.

Under currents so lovely,

hearing the whispers of time.

Getting cold time after time,

because the distance can be so far.

No peaks, no troughs,

where the wars inside us just drop.

Visions shared.

Vibrations the same.

We are in a garden and rooted in dirt.

Warm from the sun.

We have daughters; sisters and mothers.

To make up the one.
