People are like gravy.
Some brown, some white.
Some tan, some lite.
Some thick, some thin.
Some with stuff we like thrown in.
People are like gravy.
Some bland, some spicy.
Some hot, some dicey.
Some rich, some poor.
Some we like less, some we like more.
People are like gravy.
Some smooth, some lumpy.
Some flat, some bumpy.
Some red, some gooey.
Some that make us want to say phooey!
People are like gravy.
Some yummy, some yucky.
Some good, some funky.
Some special, some great.
Some you never want on your plate.
But, all in all gravy is nice.
So are most people -- When served with rice.
