People

You folks...

People...

People:

Playing, prattling, presuming power,

Perhaps possessed problematically…

Pristine Parisians, pulchritudinous, pretty,

Prance primly pursuing perfection.

Pressured patriots properly practice,

Passionately providing peoples’ protection.

Presently poor; paupers pilfer,

Perched patiently, perusing pieces.

Peachy progressives pulverise pulp,

Pandering, promulgating pointless poppycock.

Puppet politicians — pigeons! — parade,

Pantomiming poorly; promoting power.

Poets’ pens paint papers priceless,

Preserved perfectly: peaceful paradise.

Parents push, Princesses perspire,

Papas punish, Princes perish.

Professors pursue, proclaim, profess,

Practise, produce, prove, progress.

About the Creator

Oscar Richard

An artist, an alchemist; quixotic and shmaltzly, fervent too... Probably pompous, and perfectly, ordinarily self-deprecating.
