Peeking

Opinionated eyes

If you find yourself outside my window

And you feel inclined to take a peek...

and what you see shocks you

Stops your time and reality for a moment

Intrigues you no doubt

So much that maybe

Just maybe it even scares you

More intriguing than scared... so you can’t help but continue to look

Look

Go ahead

I live behind this window...

there’s nothing from the outside that you can see

Nothing

That I haven’t already saw... felt.. feel

So don’t run to the ears of others and tell them of what you saw

Be bold enough to stand on my door step and knock

Tell me what it is you think you have become to see

Or don’t...

keep passing by

And let me be me....

what you see from the outside of my life’s window is of your opinion and your view of site

One that doesn’t ruffle my being..

one that is

Not of the side of me that is living this life

Nor part of the soul that puts up so much fight.

Day in and day out..

Probably be best you go about your way ...

Who the fuck asked you here anyway
