Wisdom to drink. Wisdom to think.

"Never put your pearls before swine

'Cause the swine will always whine.

So, it's best to go and find

Those who'll appreciate your time."

||

I myself cannot pretend

To have not have friends

That left me behind

Not value my time

|

Pushed aside, displaced it

Tossed aside, made wasted

The truth set me free once I faced it

Hell yeah, like my anger, I embraced it

|

"Fake friends leave, Revealing the real ones that stay."

Grains of gold, buried deep in muddy clay

True friends remain, their hearts won't betray

As you sift through the sand, they're there for you, make no delay

|

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

"You can give Pearls of Wisdom, but you can't make them think."

"You can build the best boat, and they'll still make it sink."

"You can bring the harmony, but they won't fall in sync."

|

Your value is something that they don't need

Sowing bitterness with thorny hateful seeds

Breaking promises, not sticking to a creed

Rushing recklessly, not taking heed

|

It's best to not waste

Your time, You can't replace

Bad people will erase

Any faith that you've misplaced

|

As you move on continue to grow big

The pearls you have, never give 'em to a pig

You'll grow mighty, like a tree bearing figs

Not pressure snapping easy like a twig

|

Don't waste your breath of those who won't hear

Their kindness is thinner than a flimsy veneer

Those who care will make sure to hold you dear

Even far away, your hearts will always be near

|

"Never put your pearls before swine

'Cause the swine will always whine.

So, it's best to go and find

Those who'll appreciate your time."

|

The pigs will want you to roll in the clay

Hold yourself at bay

Listen to what they say

Wisdom is a treasure, don't part with it but stay

|

Pearls come from water that you lead the horse to drink

If you the gifted horse's mouth, it may have pearly white teeth

Past the lips, a silver tongue may be hidden beneath

Horses with a thirst for knowledge will allow others to speak

|

The water, the river, the freshness is the source for the wise

Pearls of Wisdom are sought with open eyes

Kept safe, even secret, the mussels hold the prize

Plus, a grain of salt can enhance the flavor of humble pies

|

If you're ever in the mud then for your sake

Grab a rinsing pan, and check for golden flakes

Not fool's good, their value is more than just a claim to their stake

Kernels of truth, nuggets of wisdom, quench your acumen's slake

|

Wisdom to drink.

Wisdom to think.

Trusting useful intuition, connecting all the links.

Closer than you think, you're well past the brink.

|

Once the lessons are complete

You won't allow people to mistreat

Your value and time march to your own drumbeat

Now, let's put the main lesson on repeat

|

"Never put your pearls before swine

'Cause the swine will always whine.

So, it's best to go and find

Those who'll appreciate your time."
