Pearl The Squirrel: Such A Caring Girl...🐿️
~~2026 Children's Poetry~~
'Pearl The Squirrel' decided to pray for the world because she saw so many sad faces on the street that morning that it made her want to hurl.
Did someone steal the entire neighborhood's stash of nuts? Pearl wondered as she scurried to her wooden hut.
"Whenever hawks are too close, I pray that things will go my way the most."
"So far so good… 'The Big Squirrel' upstairs has been good! I'm still around to rep for my hood," Pearl declared aloud.
And then added with a wide smile:
"Now where did I bury those last eighty-three nuts again?"
"I need to make pecan pies for all of my sad friends!"
"I'm determined to restore order to our small enclave here by making our town's sadness disappear."
"Good food should do the trick! I'll soon have everyone feeling happy-go-lucky and as fat and full as a tick!" 🥧🥧🥧🥧🥧🥧💖🫶🏾🤗
