Peach Skies

The rarest hue of dawn

The clouds were peach this morning

Against sky of cyan pure

Wispy puffs of trailing beauty

A perfect morning cure

A colour made for capture

The rarest hue of dawn

The peach clouds were ephemeral

I turned and they were gone

Perhaps it's a reminder

Of how fleeting is life

Each day a gift to spend

Don't waste that morning light

About the Creator

Gwendolyn Pendraig

I write. Feelings, mostly, though they often end up being horror based. I authored a book in 2017, Dancing In The Dust. You should check it out if you enjoy female fronted, post apocalyptic misery fests!
