Peace at the End

Smile because it happened

By Thomas DurbinPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

Peace at the End (Smile because it happened)

Remember the laughs

Release my hand,

I love you

but I have to go.

I have grown weary

The day was long,

I love you

but I have to go.

No battle here

Nothing lost or won,

I love you

but I have to go.

Now somewhere else

I need to be,

I love you

but I have to go.

Let the smiles

Outlive the tears,

I love you

but I have to go.
