With their wagging tails and playful ways
Their soft fur and puppy eyes
Make us forget all of life's tough tries
They greet us at the door with glee
As if we were the greatest company
Their unconditional love and loyalty
Fills our hearts with utter joy and beauty
In moments of sadness or despair
They are always there to show they care
With a gentle lick or warm embrace
They remind us of life's simple grace
Their bark may sometimes startle us
But their presence is always a plus
A protector, a friend, a confidant too
our furry four-legged friends
Whose love and joy never truly ends
May we cherish every moment we spend
With our loyal companions until the very end.

My To Be Read List
I have been taking some time away from writing. I haven't forgotten about Vocal, the truth is I just have been too busy pursuing other things to write online and honestly, my little family and I just had a really hard month between the flu and a weird eye infection/cold circulating our house. I'm currently sipping some warm peppermint tea because my throat is sore.
