Letting your anger turn into a laugh

Being patient is letting another follow their own path-

It's letting your anger turn into a laugh.

It's saying, "I trust you," to go out into the world.

It's tranquilly waiting for a love to unfurl.

It's counting and breathing before you shout out!

It's watching and waiting another try something out.

It's letting go of control, yet it's a guiding hand.

It's having the serenity to just understand.

Patience is waiting in a line ten people deep-

Quietly, calmly, with not one negative peep.

It's teaching the tools to watch others succeed.

It's taking the time to fill a small need.

It's knowing that others march to their own beat,

Still others like to simply shuffle their feet.

It's repeating your requests time and time anew,

Even though that may be something you'd rather not do.

It's realizing that sometimes things can take a long time.

It's reaching the next branch on your long upward climb.

It scrimping and saving for a toy long desired.

It's continuing to be pleasant although you are tired.

It's important to be patient to win someone's trust.

In everyday life, virtue is a must.
