The thick
clouds
are dreary
heavy hanging
like a pall
blocking the sun
of my heart
in a different
place where
happy leaves
and moss still
spend their days
and the sun still
shines warm
but the wind...
the wind
remembers
and has
come to me
to redesign
the clouds
to open up
for me
a little patch of blue.
