A poem on the past and future

Many would rather search their past

For things lost or cannot rebound

That we know will never be found

Here, there, or anywhere around

Past is gone, leaving memories crowned

That will stay with us whether we are up or down

Look into the unknown of the future

What is yet to come won’t be a lecture

But could be your best adventure

Mixing leisure and pleasure

Then you will realize that the future holds a treasure

That the past could not deliver

This is not conjecture

As the past and the future will not surrender

They don’t go together

As one must go before the other

Please, don’t mix up their order.
