Passing

An Acrostic Poem

Passing

Every passing moment grew darker until

Clouded, obscured, your life force receded

Love never felt so without purpose, unneeded

In that moment the darkness was everything

Passing thoughts across your face

Said it all

Enough.

Acrostic

So moving! I felt every letter in every word, and yet there's a buoyancy to your phrasing. Beautiful piece! Congratulations on Top Story!

Heavy, like the end of a relationship. “ Love never felt so without purpose, unneeded” is a great line Natalie:)
