“I am a strong woman
because
a strong woman raised me”
When we think about
how Strong our mothers are,
it’s no wonder
we become Strong ourselves.
Physically,
she carried us through nine months of Life
in her womb.
Physically,
she gave birth to us,
possibly spending many hours
in labour.
Physically,
she raised us by
bathing us,
changing our nappies,
dressing us,
feeding us and
carrying us right up
until we could
’fend for ourselves’.
During all of these years,
we learned so much
from our mothers
that we don’t always ‘realize’
what our mothers taught us.
Self-care.
Self-love.
How to make sacrifices.
Independence.
Gratitude.
Determination.
In Fact,
If we wrote down Everything,
how many books would it fill?
When we think about a mother’s Love,
we see Mother Nature
at Her Strongest!
I always think
that my mother was Stronger
than any Suffragette.
For those of us
who have been lucky enough
to have had a mother,
it really is a Blessing
that we should never take for granted.
She taught us
how to overcome Life’s challenges
possibly
even without saying a word.
When we look at our mothers,
we see Strength and Resilience.
And many of us
pass “This” onto our daughters.
LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!
