Remember when we had to split that last slice

Now we were counting blessings, addin' digits on ice

You held me down when them fake ones dipped

Kept it solid while the others just flipped

I see the same fire when I look in your eyes

Same warrior spirit that never complies

We built this from nothing, now it's bigger than us

Legacy living, in God that we trust

Through the storms and the sunshine, we weather it all

Answer the call when the family call

You my reflection in the mirror of life

Through the joy and the pain, through the joy and the strife

We don't need witnesses, our bond is the proof

Built on respect, built on truth

From the gutter we rose, now the whole world see

Part of the bond, you and me, you and me
