Todays world is too confusing and paradoxical

Paradox of the Plagued

We are plagued by wars, mental illness, inequality and pain...

Yet we choose to comment on a strangers video judging their body hair.

-

We are plagued by abuse, injustice, and inner torment...

Yet we choose to look at other peoples appearance and leave hateful comments.

-

We are plagued by viruses, daily struggles, and demons that no one knows about.

Yet we choose to express our opinions that reflects our own doubts.

-

We are plagued and none of this makes sense.

-

Why do we hate, demean, and belittle someone for being themselves?

It makes no goddamn sense but we are plagued by things we cannot change, yet we choose to project hate from within ourselves.

-

Because we are plagued.

-

Humanity as a whole is due for an update. Like we update our laptops and update our phones.

Yet we are plagued by the negativity screamed by underscore - unknowns...

-

We hurt and then we hurt our mothers, we are hated so we unleash it on our fathers. We are loved but do not love our sisters, nor the brothers.

It's the paradox of the plagued; human plague like no other...
