Parachute

27/06/2017

By Jaime KennedyPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

2 years4 months27 daysand 14 hours since everything changed.

That's 125 weeks since I woke up.

It's 878 days since I screamed.

It's been 21,067 hours since I saw him run out the door,Dragging along every little piece of my sanity.

Life doesn't give you what can't be handled. You don't get brought to the edge of a cliff without a parachute and be told to jump.

I can't tell you the amount of times I wanted to jump. The amount of times I almost did.

But everyday a small fibre of that parachute materializes, and it grew.It grew until it was whole again. Now I jump.

And 2 years4 months27 days and 14 hours laterI'm finally falling to safety.
