Thoughts on darkness from the leader of The Lost Boys

everyone says to avoid darkness

cause everyone knows you can’t see in pitch-black

like everyone knows that light is much safer

it isn’t wise to be out in the night— everyone says

personally i’ve always felt free in the dark

shadows don’t scare me, least of all my own

everyone isn’t Peter, after all

Ah, the Lost Boys! They knew something about playing in the moonlight!
