a half measure might just do

i'll leave another half in my wardrobe

and as i woo my crew to screw

one final bolt

into a temporal brain lobe

of my Scarecrow

a lightning strikes

and torches the straw

the joyful and eye-pleasing glow

it warms up the likes

of them of us

'cause it's so much fun

to watch the straw burn

things took a right turn

but the setting is wrong

pan left

what do you see

jupeter is large

but look at this cleft

it's engulfing with glee

these oceans of gas they discharge

into nothingness

unborn life bereft

but i am still left with another half measure

it is something to treasure

to lock in a safe

to take to the grave

a half measure should suffice

i just need to entice

to connect and engage

to enrage

i bathe in sunflowers

x-rays and deep waters

should i split it in two

and have two lovers

two quarters

two quarters should do

surreal poetry
