Painkiller: His Love is My Potion

Some days are fine and then

You’re gone and

I'm wondering again

How far I can bend.

A lack of self trust

Shows its face

And knowing it's a must

Because I want to erase,

The feelings that arise

In the toughest moments

When I see my demise

And I try to make sense.

Committed to growth

But some days the pain

Of it all makes me loath

And I cannot feign

Such strong emotion,

Yet I’ll keep trying to swim

Through the depths of the ocean -

Believing in Him

Knowing, His love is my potion.
