Painful Truth
Sometimes it is painful just to exist
Painful Truth
I am painful truth
My tongue knows no couth
Spewing sharp phrase
Cutting through the haze
I hold privileged sin
Along with my kin
Scared silence
Repeated violence
I am pure love
Touched only by a glove
Body the crime scene
Who could be so mean
I am exotic erotic
Mostly psychotic
A relic of the past
Who likes to live fast
I am emotionally wrecked
Every time we necked
Childish hickeys abound
Tasteless lust found
I am living dream
Nightmarish so to seem
Drowning in universal passion
Continually emotionally crashin’
I am tragic beauty
Without the right to be snooty
Suspected stereotype
Seductive hype
I am legend living
Eternally giving
Naturally driven to thrive
Never meant to survive
I am Stamina unshaken
Always accused of fakin’
Healing generational trauma
Always the center of some drama
I am painful truth
Once known as Ruth
Unable to live a lie
I refuse to try
Kneeling
For that healing
Praying
for mindful fraying
Building a new Hope
The only way to Cope
Actualized being
Fearless freeing
