Pain

I am not crying

We wear faces to hide our pain

We wear hills to elevate us from our muddy sorrows

We paint our true feelings by being clowns

The hurt we pass thru jokes – hurts

I hide you, yes you pain

I cannot let you control me

I made you, I can unmake you

I control you

You can’t destroy me every time I think about you

Let me down once, that is okay!

Let me down twice, that is enough!

Enough is enough. I am fighting back!
