Alone once more, lost in the past,
Can't recall how long it's last.
No one to trust, no one to care,
Though smiles are plenty, it's all a snare.
Will I ever find a friend so real?
Will I ever heal or truly feel?
Always alone, misunderstood,
Longing for change, if only I could.
I wish the pain would fade away,
To trust again, to feel okay.
To be surrounded by those I trust,
A happiness that’s more than just.
It’s not the trust that I can’t find,
But being good enough in my mind.
"Good draws good," they often say,
Bad repels—it’s life’s own way.
So I must be true, I must stand tall,
To rise above and break the wall.
To fight the feelings that I fear,
Alone again, but I’ll persevere.
