Pain and Suffrage

The pain hurts.

By ShaniyaPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

You looked at me from across the room like you always did. You always looked down when I smiled. It took you months to get up and just say hi. You asked me out on a date. I though okay why not. We went to the bridge and ate. 6 weeks later we became mates. Months later you took my virginity and my heart. I have loved you from the start. You beat me and used me. You belittled me and lied to me. You tore my heart out. I build my walls up but you broke them. I sewed my heart but you cut the ties. I built the fire to keep us warm but you put on a cold shoulder and put it out. I FELL FOR YOU BUT YOU TRIPPED ON ME. Was I not pretty enough. Was I not good enough. Was i worth it. Was I not perfect. I PROTECTED YOU. I GIVE YOU EVERYTHING. YOU CHEAT ON ME WITH MY ENEMIE AND ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS. ALL YOU WANTED WAS SEX. YOU HEARD THE RUMORS ABOUT ME THAT WEREN'T EVEN TRUE AND YOU USED THAT AS A TOOL. R.I.P. SOUL
