I’ve been ignoring this for a while.

I’ve been jumping over it like a hurdle.

I’ve tried to move past this roadblock,

But I can’t until I realize it’s real.

I’m starting to realize that I can’t ignore it.

I can’t go past this without feeling something.

It’s real, and it’s running behind me.

It’s coming at me fast, and I can’t avoid it.

I realize that I can’t do anything.

I can’t beg it to leave me alone.

It cuts me deep, and I feel the ache as I bleed.

It flows out, and then I’m nothing.
