In the care of a poet’s weathered hands,

submerge in euphonious prosody, scrolled from the depths of mystery—

from the seed of lyrical philosophies, cranial blooms expand.

*

Liken to the trope of bending goldenrod and flaxen grasslands;

blend your grief and sorrow into elegy—

in the care of a poet’s weathered hands.

*

Antithesis mists a clear mind at the pen's command,

then swirls thoughts among starlit epiphanies—

from the seed of lyrical philosophies, cranial blooms expand.

*

Exume new depths of soul from the heart-bleed of a stanza,

allegorical verse sets the twining of your spirit free—

in the care of a poet’s weathered hands.

*

Decode your self through an unraveling of poetic strands,

submit to mental pliability—

from the seed of lyrical philosophies, cranial blooms expand.

*

Enlightenment seeps from nuanced perspectives that land

through expressions of bewitching whimsical ambiguity,

in the care of a poet’s weathered hands—

from the seed of lyrical philosophies, cranial blooms expand.

Well, well, well. My most recent (which I know you read) was an attempt at describing the feeling of a story dying on the page, though I'm not sure if that came through. You just told me how to get it out. And you did show magically. Damn, girl. You are brilliant. ❤
