OVERWHELMED! An apology

To paraphrase Andrea Corwin's word when she said

of Dharrsheena's deeply moving Sleephiphany,

"Everything seems completely overwhelming".

I sit poised to write and there is just no energy

Lately, I have felt like I am drowning beneath the waves

of reading, writing, living, coping and finding the energy

to run around doing this and that, and sitting still enough

to reply to all of the wonderful readers who still find time,

heart and kindness to still persevere and read stories

Sometimes, little (or troubling) issues prevent us from

life activities which we truly enjoy

So this is my little way, of saying...

"You all are really great, for taking the time to care and share"

Sometimes life knocks us sideways into its waves

And we have to struggle to keep afloat

You are the lifeline to which we hopefully cling

For you all are a great big extended and lovable family

Diving into the stormy sea to lend a helpful hand

To those of us who call out to you from the void

So,

Thanks, and heartfelt gratitude

And,

Apologies for the seeming lack of reciprocity

in response to your kindness

I am doing my best to rebuild the body, mind and spirit

to an acceptable percentage of driving power.
