She created the mess I had to clean.

I

She let the toilet overflow

by flushing it

when it was clogged.

II

Shit and piss

on the floor,

spreading

on the bathroom tiles,

on the bathroom mats.

III

She screams

in anger

and orders me

to clean it up!

She leaves her mess.

And made it mine.

IV

So, I drag

the soaked rugs out

and use the towels

to sponge up

the brown lake

on the floor.

V

Not my creation.

But my task.

She flips the script

and makes it about me.
