Yet Aware,
A feast founded on
Rice
and talk of life
Butter coated
Questioning of
extremes
From
More cream?
To where
Do you stand
In life?
Over the saucepan
Relishing in the
richness
of companionship
cooked to perfection
Realising life
is a dish
best served
shared,
Its sauce spiced
with laughter
Salted
with curiosity
laid as much in
thoughts spoke
as gazes
Across the
table
Containing questions whose
answers will
age
like the red
brought dusty from the
cellar
to be warmed by the
fire
bringing sauce
and voice
to a bubble
What's next?
Pudding
