Outside Thoughts in the Wide

A Poem

Light grey clouds,

Make me proud!

Dark green trees,

To hide the bees!

Dead yellow grass,

At home alas!

At the Smokey blue mountain,

Drink at the water fountain!

Bright orange sun,

Poem writing's so much fun!

Dull blue covered sky,

Has me wondering why,

Birds fly above so high!

Above the occasional yellow cacti flowers,

Has me staring in awe for hours!

At bronze turquoise leaves,

Forget my broken up knees!

And that far off sage,

Fills more words on this page!

With purple floura weeds,

Dropping their green bean seeds!

Mosquito flies by me twice,

Setting sun turns world to ice!

White fluff flying around,

Landing on the ground!

Tan grasshoppers jump about,

As I stop writing I sign out!
