Your homes are just props,
your life is just an act.
The world is our theater,
We are the stage.
These things we don't value enough,
We hide behind a perfection that is nothing
but a fake.
We are to scared to be ourselves,
So we play a part far from being you.
A mask everyone likes,
a layer to fit into the normal,
Spending hours to be something you're not.
Finally it's time to step on the stage,
But wait something doesn't feel right,
Under those layers is the true you.
You chose to ignore it because you're scared of what other people might think.
Step on the stage only to be you,
not to be a fake..
