Day Four

Our Own World

The grass is green

The sky is blue

The river rushes through

The breeze is light

The sun is warm

The ground holds morning dew

The clouds pass by

The trees reach out

The birds sing loud and true

The flowers bloom

The day is bright

And everything is new

I’m this beautiful world of ours

Are treasures every day

Sprouting from

The Creating One

Ending all decay

This perfect, gentle world of ours

Shines bright the summer sun

& leaves us all to hope this world

Will never be undone

How wonderful is this world of ours

That lets us run and play

Where light doesn’t have to wait

Until the break of day

This world of ours is radiant

It breathes life to all within

The symphonies of every voice

Being carried by the wind

So welcome to this world of ours

The door is open wide

And all who dare to find it

Will discover what’s inside
