Every morning–fried wires, loose screws, nuts and bolts
I'll tell you, reading the headlines in the newspaper will give you the jolts
We powder our faces to look decent for the disgraces
And then go cry us a river in the bathroom stall of all places
And then look in the mirror to find that our hair never molts.
