Opportunity Knocks

Sitting relaxing

Someone was there

No idea who it was

Wasn't bothered what they wanted

Moved myself to see

They stood there with a look of glee

Asked me if I cared to agree

We both spoke on the count of three

I enquired regarding their plea

They told me I would soon see

I confirmed what I thought they had that rocks

Didn't think they were there selling socks

It wasn't something that I thought should be mocked

Remember to keep your door locked

But maybe check when opportunity knocks
