openwork

a poem

the whole world thinks in different categories

than me, who is proficient in psychology

on which I focus everywhere

from school subjects to multiple environments

work, family, friends, strangers

there is a common core everywhere

unspoked but recognisable

close to my heart and soul

when I bring bright beam of light to it every day

for me to be healed

from many hurting matters

bothering me

without talking

I will review it as usual

if the response is crucial, sincere

it may mean a healthy human being

but what if the focus is on

throwing you off balance

instead of solving the issue

then what? what should we do

to not add fuel to the flames?

these persons will kindle it

with just one sham gesture

you never expected they had

in the assortment of their store

of this openwork

visible for miles

for me, who now has

a PhD in narcissism

About the Creator

Mescaline Brisset

if it doesn't come bursting out of you

in spite of everything,

don't do it.

unless it comes unasked out of your
