The windows open

Truth in hand

Truth is you wouldn't understand

The sun's burning too bright

Your eyes can't withstand the light

Your fear won't let you reach these heights

So make moves in the night

But it's so dark it will lead you to plight

Cycles and circles

Truths and lies

Giving birth to fallacies contrived

Albeit of spite or things unspoken but not unnoticed

So like hocus pocus

The world gets caught up in this haze and maze

It's hard to find truth these days

Fact checking is all the rave

Seems self thought is depraved

Self sufficiency a rare coveted commodity

So lift you mask and take your place

Albeit in the shadow or the sun

Are you a truther or a lying coward quick to run to someone

In the end your true colors always show

I know I'm never one to waiver or go back on words I speak

Instead it's always truth and conviction I speak

Birds will fly

Birds will die

But for our truths and liberties let us fight

Let us cling to some invisible might

And truth and will shall come thru
