You Loved Me or Liked Me When
Online dating is soul crushing and the most tedious adventure. I call it this because it isn't for the faint of heart. Regardless of your age it is a challenge. Online dating is an art and there is no guide. When you heart aches searching remind yourself that you are not alone in this online virtual love connection struggle.
The following poem is brief yet courageous. I hope your heart is courageous too!
You loved me on Friday when we strolled the green. On Saturday you loved me between crisp, cool, sheets and I loved it when you said my name. On Sunday you loved me over coffee and tea. When Monday arrived you sulked and tapped your pen. On the following Sunday we parted thinking we would never saw each other again. Later while scrolling we matched and you laughed and I cried. There was temptation to do it all over again. Perhaps if we met on the Sunday our love would remain.
