One Year.

A lifetime.

It's been about a year now since you went away.

It doesn't feel that long, though.

It was just yesterday that I received a call you left,

And that was it. You're gone.

Guess I'll never get that 5-minute conversation with you, eh?

In a way that's okay!

In the year since your passing, I have not only learned more about myself, but I have learned a lot about you as well.

Death has a weird thing about showing people's true colours.

Sometimes these colours are good, and sometimes they are bad.

It's up to you which colour you see shining the most.
