I painted both of my late husbands into it. First, their names, which were then painted over. I know they're there, and that's why I did that. For me.

Then, the sun from the Japanese flag in the lower left for Paul since he taught Japanese martial arts. Ted and I shared a love of music, so those elements were for us both.
