Details available now and from here:

Check out the entry details above. Think about a work of art (however you think of art) that has a connection, any kind of connection, to the Gormley in the featured image. Artist, location, theme, feeling.... whatever. Why not write about it? Poem, flash fiction, critique. If you post a poem/story with a headline starting "One work: " I will consider it a pre-announcement entry. First to enter (from now) is guaranteed a $5 prize. Any others can take the connection either from that entry, from this (non-)entry, or from any other entry. Keep it brief (if you can, but there is no minimum or maximum), focus on the feel, express your love (or hate, or interest, or whatever...)

You do not have to be an expert to express your feelings about a work of art you have seen or just noticed. Just say what you saw and preferably how it made you feel. Just say it as it is.

Oh, and don't link your story to the challenge, link it to the story you take your connection from. So if your connection is to this story, please provide a link to this page. If your connection is to the first or any other entry, please link your story to that page.

The idea is to create a network of connections between creators and the art that they appreciate and that you can connect with.

BTW: What's the connection between the Gormley and the Munch? The Munch self-portrait featured in a temporary exhibition in Margate, on the English Kent coast. The Gormley is located opposite the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate. A connection of place. That simple!

Simple?

Let's keep it that way.

Thanks for your interest and for making the connection.
