One Word to Beat Them All

I am not sure what I want to say.

The endless pressure of words

That stream on day by day,

Pressuring the brain to come with something smart;

All the while words dart

In and out of focus

Whilst we look to stay alive;

In conversation and business

Even if only for five

Days a week, to rest at the weekend

Only to recommend a sentence

To kick start the next week.

But only one word can make me weak

And that word is simple but small;

But not all know what it means

Until it is too late.
