A hidden depth. Seeking stable ground.
'Twas a locked and hidden gem.
It so frail broke its twine wood cage.
Like bird new upon wind, found foot
once tethered from strings a past long
'gotten within the twilight.
She sing.
Oh freedom, a'blast my wings.
Highly thee soar me.
Lo she fell harsh when the wind tore to bleed
its a strength across fruitless tree of
bleak summer dawn.
Weak; called out a sorrow.
Lest the sun rise no more.
Bitter snow; she hid back entwined her cage.
Nay, hark here spring and summer soften.
Her wings once float anew.
Now trust in wind to carry swift in rain or sun.
She fleet new heights passed burden mountain
swiftly 'ver bottomless seas.
Yae, final dream now drift her weary head.
Safe and calm.
O'final peace, long and desired.
Long deserved.
